What we collect
(1) The email address you provide if you choose to unlock bulk downloads; (2) what you enter in the custom-list request form — your email, the list you need, and optionally your name, company and intended use; (3) standard site analytics (pages viewed, downloads, device and browser type); (4) security logs (IP addresses) used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
How we use it
To provide downloads, reply to your request, prevent abuse and improve the site. We email you about new data only if you ticked “Email me when new data is published”; reply to any such email to stop. We do not sell your personal data.
Third parties
Data is shared only with providers needed to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (email delivery) and PostHog (analytics). Analytics does not record your session or anything you type into a form.
Retention and your rights
Unlock emails and custom-list requests are deleted automatically after 12 months. If you tick the box to receive update emails, your record is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. IP addresses used for abuse prevention are kept for 2 hours only and are never stored with your email. Site analytics are used in aggregate. Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time: info@hkregister.com. We act within 7 working days.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies: (1) a download-unlock cookie — remembers that you've unlocked bulk downloads, valid for 90 days; (2) a language cookie — remembers the language you chose, valid for one year; (3) analytics cookies — used to understand overall site usage. We use no advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; after clearing, bulk downloads will ask for your email again.
